I did my entire application process on the net. No paper pre-apps. Much faster. You can download detailed course, faculty and university information, application forms; you can even apply online. In some univs (U Penn for example), it's cheaper if you apply online. Listed below are the web addresses of all the universities whose websites I visited. Hope it is of help to you.

In case the university you are looking for is not listed here: Most univ websites have a similar structure: They have www followed by the firstname or initials of the university followed by edu. E.g. Carnegie Mellon University is www.cmu.edu. If this doesn't work, search in Yahoo (
www.yahoo.com). Almost all universities are listed there.Columbia University, New York:
